SUNSHINE SMOOTHIE

  I decided to whip up this nice smoothie since everyday around my snack-time I crave something sweet, filling, and refreshing. My sunshine smoothie is just the thing is satisfy those cravings. It seems fitting to make a bright, vibrant and delicious smoothie for the summer weather- even though the past few days by me have been all too rainy. The past few weeks have been filled with wonderful things, such as one of my very close friends getting married. All the bride’s friends took a pole dance class together as part of her bachelorette. Needless to say the next day I couldn’t feel my arms and had a whole new respect for anyone who can dance on a pole. It was a fun and hysterical experience that I would recommend to anyone, especially those with great core, upper arm, and inner thigh strength (and maybe some sassy rhythm). Whether making this smoothie or feeling the burn after a workout, I hope this drink bring a little sunshine to your taste buds!

Sunshine Smoothie

Serves:

1 smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of fresh papaya chunks
  • 1/3 cup of frozen mango
  • 1 apricot diced
  • ¼ teaspoon bee pollen
  • 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)

Instructions

  1. Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Add more or less liquid depending on desired consistency.
  2. Enjoy!
